Green’s theorem basically says if youve got a vector function and youre integrating on a simple closed curve you can forget about line integrals all together. its just the double integral on the region bounded by the curve. you notice that little difference in the double integral? yep same as when you check if a field is conservative. therefore you can conclude that the line integral is always 0 on a path thats closed in a conservative field.
