the first track “highschool romance” almost sounds like an icecream truck’s music and the ice cream truck was made by delorean
next comes K12 which has a pretty good synth melody going but feels like it builds to nothing.
french lessons follows and its pas mal (what a great write up of this track eh?)
then we have for the win and jacuzzi which are alright too
godamn im shakespeare and pitchfork combined on this one
conclusion: sounds like it was made in a very amateur garage setup way but judging by the feel of the album thats what they were going for. id pick french lessons as my favorite track and k12 is just BEGGING for a remix. if you want to add more neo-80’s synthpop type stuff to your collection by all means check it out its free
